Magic Kingdom!

Well we made it to "The Happiest Place on Earth" although I think if you've got kids it is the "Tiredest Place on Earth". So here in the next few days I'll post a few pics from each of the parks. We started Monday with of course, Magic Kingdom. For Cooper and Maddie it was more then magical. The loved seeing all the characters, riding all the rides, and you could tell they had so much fun. What wasn't fun was all the rain that day, not just a little rain, like a few downpours that day. But we made the best of it, and may not look beautiful in all the pictures, but what are you going to do? Yes, there are a lot of people there in July, but the fast passes make it bearable, and the kids did so awesome. No breakdowns, melt downs, or real fussy kids. So I was one happy momma. The best things of the day were:

-Pulling up in the Steamboat and seeing "The Castle"
-Maddie blowing kisses to all the princesses during the parade. She got several back!
-Riding the Dumbo ride, but apparently the Buzz Lightyear ride won out for Cooper.
-Cooper saying how Space Mountain was too fast. (I was so sad I didn't get to ride this with him, my doc said no no on roller coasters.)
-Maddie seeing Cinderella for the first time, she looked back and said "Mom, she's so beautiful!"

So it was all a dream, a magical dream come true. I know Maddie and Kellyn probably won't remember this trip to Disney, but it was so worth it to see their faces every time they saw someone they loved. Priceless!! And I'm so glad we took the trip with my parents, cause we wouldn't have made it without them. I would never want to go to Disney more pregnant then I was.

Flip Burger Boutique

We stopped last week in Birmingham, AL for dinner, and the fam was nice enough to make a stop to eat at my favorite chefs restaurant there! So my dreams came true to eat at a Richard Blais restaurant, some day I'll make it to Atlanta to The Spence where he is the chef, until then this will do! The burgers were so good, I got a sampler to try 2, and the chicken sandwich. My favorite was the blue cheese burger with truffle oil, so so good!

And then there was this beauty, a liquid nitrogen Nutella shake with marshmallows! I have no words for this one!

For me, at least, it was worth the stop!

4th fun

This year for the 4th we went to some friends house where we watched boys shoot off all their savings in fireworks. We could see several other shows around so that was fun. Kellyn really enjoyed her first fireworks. We didn't take her last year!

(He's so anti smiling these days)

Oh and not to disappoint if you saw 4th fun and thought this was happening:

Cause it is....in January. Cooper is telling everyone he knows that we are getting another baby, and Maddie, well according to her we already have a baby! Poor Kellyn doesn't have a clue!

Cooper's new day job

It's harvest time up here in Newkirk, has been for a couple of weeks. Some of our best friends are wheat farmers. So today was their last day of harvest so they invited Cooper to come take a ride on their combine. It was probably the best day of his life, he said he was just going to stay with Bryce and work all day. He got to drive it and everything, but I was told there were a lot of squiggly lines out there! I'm glad even though you'd call us "city people" he's getting a little or maybe a big taste of country life. All he knows is living in a small town and visiting Grandma's house in Edmond. Which may not end up being such a bad thing!
