Basketball Homecoming

Not going to lie.....I was thrilled when Cooper was chosen to be the crown bearer at Homecoming this year. Mostly because I thought he'd look so handsome in a little suit. He rocked his outfit that we got for him. We have been letting him grow out his hair to see what happens when it's longer. He really wanted a mohawk cut, but we all agreed that spiking it would be the way to go! The older sister of our babysitters we use in Newkirk won Homecoming Queen. Later Cooper asked me, Mom, what did Kyndall do to be Queen....while I love the pic of him kissing her on the cheek, he hates it and is totally embarrassed about it. His exact words were, "I do not want to talk about it!" Her mom said in a couple of years he'll probably love that picture too! I failed to get family pics or pics with his grandparents and great grandparents that came up to watch him. It was a fun night and he did great!!

Drew is 1!

I can not believe that it's been a year since this sweet boy came into the world!

It has flown by, but has been such a blast!

The picture above pretty much describes how I feel about today. I am sad my baby is turning 1, probably our last baby. (Never say never you know ;-)!) I am also so excited to move on to our next stage as parents. Having kids that sleep more through the night then not, everyone walking, talking, and continuing to all just play together! So since Drew's birthday is during basketball we are celebrating in a couple of weeks. The kids and I did take him to Starbucks to get his first milk!

He loved it, but it has not diminished his love for nursing, at least yet. Then we had a little birthday cake for him! He just wanted the icing!

And we went ahead and have him his little backpack. All the kids have been given one for their first birthday. I let the kids pick his out!

So it was a great day, and now he's 1! He loves to say mama, my mama, and hi. He likes to wave, play with cars, destroy his brother's Legos, and pull his sisters hair. He loves his mama to hold him, but likes to look at his Dad! He has completely filled all of us with joy as he fills our house with his laughter! Like I said, it's been an awesome year! Love you Baby Drew!

Happy 2015!

We were back home for New Years, so we invited another family over for the fun! We watched the Thunder and did a little countdown with NYC before they left. I filled balloons with candy for the kids to pop every 30 minutes, they loved it! So nothing to fancy, but we all had a good time!

Christmas!

Catch up time! It was busy before Christmas, busy during Christmas, and really busy right after, so now I feel like I might have a little time to catch my breath and blog a little bit about Christmas! We had 5 Christmases....yes 5. We went down to Texas to see Jeremy's family, had a Christmas at my parents house, my grandparents house, at my parent's house again with my mom's side, and then finally back home to see what all Santa dropped off for the kids! That's the way we do it! It's a crazy jam packed Christmas filled few days, but I think everyone had a blast. So here are some pics, in no real particular order. Mostly Christmas was filled with Frozen, Batman, and a little Mickey Mouse for the little guy!
